How do young people in Glasgow choose their future lives?

Approach:
The two sets of pupils from different schools – one state, one private – set out to talk to adults , older teenagers and their peers from across the city about choices and then developed their way to tell the story.

Outcomes:
A Play, graphs, animation and filmed interviews illustrating the difficulties young people have when making choices about their future.  They said that there weren’t enough options available for them to make educated decisions about their futures and highlighted to the business what they felt was their most significant finding, namely that young people didn’t get to make choices based around happiness.

Young peoples concluding recommendation:
“The way to give young people the confidence to make choices is to put more young people like us into projects like this ”.”
