"What would make the ‘burns an a’ that festival’ unmissable?"

Three schools from North, South and East Ayrshire were commissioned to give regional perspectives. They worked together through the period of the festival to give ‘first hand’ thoughts.

“The three schools approached the question in very different ways and yet there was some distinct common threads.”
“The young people showed a higher level of interest in the historical side of Burns than had been anticipated.”
“Events need to be more specifically targeted at teenagers”
“Better pricing policies would attract more young people.”
“There’s a niche opportunity to showcase the talents of young people locally.”
“New ideas for marketing and advertising segmentation and delivery for both young people and different Ayrshire communities.”
