Our Community Shapers project - funded by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation - explores a new model of partnership between educators in schools and communities and the young people they work with. It aims to improve young people's achievement, attainment and life skills by helping them lead change in their community.
A part of the process was for the young people to generate ideas for provision, services or activities in the community that would help young people to learn and grow.
Space Unlimited organised an immensely valuable field trip to take 55 young people from St Francis Primary School, Gorbals, to the IT suite of our local University. A wonderful opportunity to expose young people to the world of university.
The young people created video pitches about their ideas, which we would love to share with you.
